Terms and Conditions of Club – Retford United Juniors FC

"Club" means Retford United Juniors FC, including without limitation its coaches, committee and affiliates.

“Player” refers to any child who is registered to train or play with one of our teams, or who is registered to join our Friday Night Football sessions.

These terms and conditions apply to all players registered with the Club. Including those registered for Friday Night Football only.

All Players must join through our Membership system 'Spond Club' online, completing all required fields, forms and consents and providing any identification documents requested during registration.

1. You agree to pay fees due to the Club for the Season or training session booked. No Refunds will be issued except under exceptional or extenuating circumstances or those outlined in the Friday Night Football registration form. Club funds are centrally managed via the Treasurer and are based on appropriate use of funds to meet the season plans and agreed areas of spend/league and FA fees and operating costs including any overdraft or loan facilities requiring settlement.

2. You agree to comply with all relevant FA policies, procedures and all codes of conduct updated from time to time, these can be found on the club’s website. 

3. You consent to the Club registering your child with the relevant football league and Nottinghamshire County FA/ Football Association and agree you are liable to pay any fines awarded against your child by such football league or Nottinghamshire County Football Association.

4. You give permission to the Club to transfer via upload all personal data about you and/or your child including e.g. name, email address and mobile number to football leagues or Nottinghamshire County Football Associations that we are required to affiliate to.

5. You consent to a Club representative providing and administering the basic first aid and lifesaving aid to your child where necessary (and in circumstances where the Club is unable to contact you or your nominated emergency contact), you agree that a Club representative may take or accompany your child to a medical centre or emergency unit at a hospital and give consent for emergency treatment.

6. Your Fees will cover the below (this list is not exhaustive), no individual or business shall profit from fees taken by the club, all monies within the club are for the benefit of the club and its members:

·         Pitches and facilities including all associated rates, utilities, insurance and maintenance fees.

·         Equipment such as balls, goals, cones, respect barriers, flags etc.

·         Club/Team/Player season setup: FA affiliation, league registration, player registration etc.

·         Winter training venue hire.

·         Club officials compliance, including DBS checks, coaching qualifications, safeguarding and first aid training and renewals.

·         Insurance (Public liability and personal accident)

·         Trophies / Presentation (£100 per team plus a squad member trophy for every player in the club)

·         Club admin, PR and media systems and all league admin and attendance of league meetings (plus postage, stationery and phone calls etc.)

·         Free admission to all Senior team matches played at Cannon Park for any junior player.

7. We assume each player will get a fair proportion of matchday opportunities but that is managed by the coaching team and the squad size, Squad sizes are determined by individual league rules and are specific to each age group.

8. We do not guarantee specific game time. Coaches and Managers will discuss with Parents on specific details about each player. Each age group holds training sessions on different days, times depending on age, pitch availability. Managers will contact you regarding training days.
