Mark Chapnell - Chairman

Mark has been with the club since August 2021, joining as an assistant coach. He went on to organise our Friday Night Football events, which he still does to this day. He also now manages our U9 Blacks team. Mark joined the committee as Secretary in April 2023, became our Vice Chairman in March 2024 and now heads the club as chairman since October 2024. Mark has two sons playing for the club, one with our U14 Blacks and the other with our U9 Blacks. As Chairman Mark oversees the running of the club and defines the vision of where we want the club to go. He is always on hand to speak to anyone who has questions, issues or suggestions about the club.
Sarah Jakes - Club Secretary
Sarah joined us after bringing her niece along to training with our Girl's team. She soon became involved in the running of the team and followed that up by stepping up to help the committee as Vice Secretary. After Mark became the Vice Chairman, Sarah was unanimously voted to become the Club Secretary and she does an amazing job of administrating everything that goes on for our 19 teams.
Chris Brelsford - Club Treasurer

Chris is an old hand at the club, having been with us for many years. His son is now with our U16 Blacks team and Chris is there on the side-lines supporting him as often as possible. Chris has the challenging task of managing all the money that comes in (and unfortunately more often than not, goes out!). If ever you have questions about subs, sponsorship or anything else money related. Chris is your man.
Katie Tuska - Club Welfare Officer

Katie's son plays for our U12 Badgers team, and Katie went from parent, to assistant coach and Friday Night Football coach. Then when our previous Welfare Officer left us, Katie was head hunted due to her experience in safeguarding. She does an excellent job of keeping everyone safe and dealing with any complaints or concerns that come in. Please contact her if ever you're worried about anything at the club.
Ashley Taylor - Referee Coordinator Officer
Ashley first became involved with Retford United Juniors back in January 2023 when his son joined a team within the club. He quickly put forward his ambitions of one day having his own team and soon got involved as a volunteer helping out with coaching at Friday Night Football and eventually becoming a club Referee. In January 2024 Ashley took on the role of Team Manager for the then U11 White's and hasn't looked back. Ashley went on to further develop his role at the club becoming a Club Committee Member and the club's Referee Coordinator Officer, also working with the club's Facilities Team helping to ensure the best possible future for the club.
Thomas Carlin - Vice Secretary

Tom has been with the club for several years, and currently Manages the U13 Badgers team that his son plays on. As Assistant Secretary, Tom assists Sarah with all the player registrations, and also arranges all of our home matches to ensure everyone has a pitch allocated, and we hopefully don't have too much congestion in the car park on a Sunday.

Ryan Stanfield - Facilities Coordinator Officer

Ryan joined us at the end of 2024 and has been a huge supporter of the club ever since. His younger brother plays for the U14 Badgers team, while his dad has also been involved as a coach for the side. Ryan first came in to help run the tuck shop every Sunday, and his hard work and commitment quickly became clear to everyone at the club. When the role of Facilities Coordinator Officer became available, Ryan stepped into the position in January 2025.Since taking on the role, Ryan has been responsible for managing all of the sponsorship boards around the car park, while also working closely with Tom to ensure the car park runs smoothly on matchdays. Alongside this, he helps look after the canteen and club grounds, helping to make sure everyone can enjoy their football games in a welcoming and well-maintained environment.
